-CURRENT TAXI TARIFF REGULATIONS-  

 

On the basis of § 51 paragraph 1 of the Passenger Transport Act (PBefG) as amended by the notification of 08/08/1990 (BGBl. I p. 1690), last amended by law of 04/16/2021 (BGBl. I p. 822), and $ 11 No. 1 of the ordinance on the competence to issue statutory ordinances (delegation ordinance — DelV) of January 28, 2014 (GVBI. p. 22), last amended by ordinance of July 27, 2021 (GVBl. p. 499), the district office of Neu- Ulm following  

 

 

Regulation:  

 

 

§1 

scope  

 

(1) The carriage charges and conditions of carriage set out in this regulation for traffic with taxis apply to taxi companies with their place of business in the district of Neu-Ulm. 

(2) The mandatory driving area includes the area of the district of Neu-Ulm and the city of Ulm, including incorporated parts of the city. 

(3) The communities where the company is based (within the boundaries marked by the place-name signs or place-name signs in accordance with Appendix 3 to Section 42, Paragraph 2 of the Road Traffic Act) form tariff zone |, the remaining mandatory travel area forms tariff zone II. Notwithstanding this, for the Neu-Ulm headquarters, the urban area of Ulm — excluding incorporated districts — belongs to the tariff zone | heard. The area in which the municipalities of Altenstadt, Kellmünz ad Iller, Oberroth, Osterberg and Unterroth are based forms the tariff zone | and in this respect a uniform stand-by area within the meaning of Section 47 (2) PBefG. This applies accordingly to the area in which the company headquarters are located, Holzheim, Nersingen and Pfaffenhofen ad Roth.  

 

 

 

§2

fare  

(1) The transport fee is made up of the basic price, the time tariff, the route tariff and the surcharges, regardless of the number of people to be transported. The upgrade amount for the time and distance tariff is €0.20.  

 

(2) The basic price is €3.00 
 
(3) The time rate is €27.50/h (corresponds to €0.20/26.2 seconds). 
 
(4) The road tariff is 
 
- up to 1 km €3.20/km (corresponds to €0.20/62.5 m) Switching speed: 8.59 km/h 

- from 1 km to 2 km €2.50/km (corresponds to €0.20/80.0 m) Switching speed: 11.00 km/h 
 
- from 2 km to 5 km €2.00/km (corresponds to €0.20/100.0 m) Switching speed: 13.75 km/h 
 
- from 5 km €1.80/km (corresponds to €0.20/111.11 m) switching speed: 15.28 km/h  

 

(5) Time tariff and distance tariff apply as follows: 

Arrival in tariff zone I: no charge 

Arrival in tariff zone II from tariff zone limit I: travel tariff 

Destination journey in tariff zones I and II: route tariff 
 
Destination journeys from fare zone II in the direction of fare zone |, after arrivals and return journeys by the same passengers from destinations in fare zone II to destinations in fare zone | or towards fare zone |  

 

in tariff zone II: time tariff 

in fare zone I: road fare 
 
The time tariff also applies if the changeover speed is not reached due to traffic or customer reasons, or if the taxi is at a standstill. 
 
(6) Surcharges: 
 
a) Luggage usually to be stowed in the trunk: €0.50 per piece 
 
Hand luggage usually to be carried in the passenger compartment as well as wheelchairs and prams: no charge 
 
b) Animals, each animal transported free of charge: €0.50 
each cage or transport container: €0.50 
Guide dogs: no charge 
 
c) Miscellaneous / bike €3.50 
1 pair of skis or 1 snowboard €2.00 

d) Bringing people in need of help from the taxi to the apartment or picking them up from there without luggage: no charge 
with luggage per item: €0.50 
 
e) Ordering a large-capacity taxi (from five passenger seats): €3.50 
 
--> Maximum hammer price for a) -e): 11.00 €  
 
 
(7) In the case of commissioned trips, the above transport charges apply accordingly. 
 
(8) The minimum fare consists of the basic price and the first connection unit and amounts to €3.00. 
 
(9) If a taxi is released from the order without being used, the customer must pay the fee incurred for the journey, but at least €3.00. 
 
(10) In the case of occupied journeys from the destination to the extent technically possible, switch back from "cash register" to "occupied". Otherwise, the basic price may not be charged again; if necessary, this is to be deducted again.  

 

 

 

§3  

definitions  

(1) The basic price is due at the beginning of the journey when switching from "free" to "occupied". It includes the fee for providing the taxi. 

(2) The distance tariff in &/km indicates the amount of money that is due for a distance of 1 km. 

(3) The time tariff in €/h indicates the amount of money that is due for 1 hour. 

(4) The advance amount in € indicates in which switching units the fee advances or the internally calculated fee increases. 
 
(5) Arrivals are ordered empty trips to the pick-up address (the distance that the taxi driver travels to the pick-up location). 

(6) Destination trips are trips in which the taxi is released by the passenger at the destination (the trip from the pick-up location to the destination/busing trip). 

(7) Return journeys are journeys that have their destination in tariff zone II, but the passengers return in or in the direction of tariff zone | drive back. 

(8) Order trips are trips without passenger transport to complete orders and to transport goods.  

 

 

 

§4  

special agreement  

 

(1) Transport fees that deviate from the tariffs set out in §2 (in particular for transporting sick people or students) are only permissible with the approval of the Neu-Ulm district office. 

(2) In the case of carriage beyond the mandatory driving area, the passenger must be informed before the start of the journey that the carriage fee for the entire journey can be freely agreed. If no agreement is reached, the transport charges set for the mandatory sailing area are deemed to have been agreed. 

(3) An additional fee can be agreed for ancillary services such as pilot trips.  

 

 

 

§5  

fare meter  

(1) Journeys in the compulsory journey area are to be carried out exclusively with the fare display switched on, unless the journeys are journeys or ancillary services within the meaning of 8.4. 

(2) In the case of orders, the fare indicator may only be switched on when the taxi driver has communicated with the passenger about his or her arrival at the pick-up location. 

(3) Only calibrated fare displays may be used. The fare display must be attached in such a way that the passenger can easily read the displayed fare at any time. It is to be illuminated when it is dark. 

(4) In the event of malfunctions in the fare display, the passenger must be informed and the fare charged according to the kilometers traveled. The road tariff is to be used as a basis. 

  (5) Waiting times of up to 5 minutes may not be charged if the fare display malfunctions. If the waiting time exceeds 5 minutes, €0.30 per minute will be charged for the entire waiting time. 

(6) Faults in the fare display must be rectified immediately.  

 

 

 

§6  

billing and method of payment  

(1) For journeys within and outside the mandatory driving area, an advance payment in the amount of the expected fare can be requested. 

(2) The driver must always be able to change an amount of up to €50.00 during the service. Trips for the purpose of exchanging money up to this amount are at the expense of the driver. 

(3) Upon request, the passenger is to be issued with a receipt for the fare with the date, details of the route (pick-up location and destination), the serial number, the company address (taxi operator) and the name and signature of the driver.  

 

 

 

§7  

obligation to carry  

 

(1) A right to transport exists only within the mandatory driving area.

 

(2) There is no entitlement to order trips being carried out.  

(3) The prescribed restraint devices must be available for the transport of children. Failure to provide this does not exempt you from the obligation to transport.  

(4) Baggage and animals can be excluded from carriage if taking them along could pose a risk to proper and safe carriage.  

(5) The right of the taxi company and the driver to exclude persons from the transport due to other regulations is not restricted by this regulation.  

 

 

 

§8th  

General Rules  

(1) Unless the passenger specifies otherwise, the driver must choose the shortest route to the destination, unless another route is cheaper or cheaper and has been agreed with the passenger (Article 38 of the Ordinance on the Operation of Motor Vehicle Companies). in passenger transport / BOKraft). 

(2) The driver must carry a copy of this regulation with him. Upon request, passengers are to be granted access (§10 BOKfraft).  

 

 

 

§9  

administrative offences  

According to Section 61 Paragraph 1 No. 4 and Paragraph 2 PBefG, anyone who intentionally or negligently can be fined up to ten thousand euros  

 

  1. demands other than the transport charges set out in Section 2 or agreed or approved under Section 4, does not comply with the approval requirement under Section 4, Paragraph 1, or, contrary to Section 4, Paragraph 2, Clause 1, fails to provide the prescribed notice,  
     

  2. contrary to §5 paragraph 1 does not switch on the fare indicator or does not operate it properly contrary to §5 paragraph 2,  
     

  3. contrary to §5 paragraph 5 sentence 1, waiting times are calculated in the event of disruptions to the fare display,  
     

  4. contrary to Section 6 (2) carries out journeys for the purpose of exchanging money up to €50.00 at the expense of the passenger,  
     

  5. contrary to §6 paragraph 3, does not issue a receipt with the prescribed information at the request of the passenger,  
     

  6. contrary to §7 paragraph 1 of the transport obligation,  
     

  7. contrary to §7 paragraph 3 does not carry the prescribed child safety systems,  
     

  8. contrary to §8 paragraph 1 does not choose the shortest or agreed route to the destination or  
     

  9. Contrary to §8 paragraph 2 does not carry a copy of this ordinance or does not grant inspection upon request.  

 

 

§10  

Come into effect  

This regulation will come into force on February 1st, 2022. At the same time, the taxi tariff regulations of the Neu-Ulm district office of January 27, 2006 are no longer in force.
