The Illertal Taxi ambulance service is for people who frequently go to the doctor or hospital for health reasons.

This is how our ambulance service works

• You send us a confirmation that your health insurance company will cover the costs. The cost assumption confirmation contains the originals: prescription from the doctor and approval from your health insurance company.

• We take over the billing of the taxi rides with your health insurance company.

You will then receive a confirmation of the assumption of costs.

You call your health insurance company (or write an e-mail if possible) and apply for a confirmation of the assumption of costs. To do this, they must have a doctor's order (prescription), which they then usually have to send to the respective health insurance company by fax or e-mail.

If everything goes well, you will receive a confirmation of the assumption of costs by post, which you then pass on to us with the original prescription.
